In addition to his animating his stop-motion Allosaurus (AKA the “Jurassic Punk”) and other prehistoric animals for my Dinosaur Valley Girls movie, Thomas R. Dickens made and operated this much-larger animatronic prop. It was made to appear full size by a camera trick called “forced perspective.” And yes, it worked for scale.
